How are people using AI?
Here at GA we embrace AI, from supercharging our own software developers to incorporating AI tools into applications to enhance the experience for our users and save them time. We’re constantly monitoring what’s happening with AI out there in the world of vocational education – particularly with real examples of what organisations have done in practice. And here’s great case study!
WEBINAR: AI CAN MARK TEXT. BUT CAN IT MARK VIDEO?
Two awarding organisations, CTH and SIAS, have recently been involved in a pilot project using AI in marking videos. Many of CTH’s assessments include recordings of candidates in a work environment, for example in a hospitality or professional services context. Similarly, SIAS conduct assessments in engineering and manufacturing environments, with videos of candidates engaged in on-the-job activities.
The parties involved were interviewed in a webinar showing some great examples of assessment videos, where AI examines whether somebody is wearing the correct PPE or is running through the correct checklist of steps in a hotel checkout.
It’s an impressive demonstration of the use of AI in a real-world context.
